Roan View Farm is owned and operated by John and Harley Masters who are first generation farmers. We harvest hay, raise sheep, and are expanding into cover crops in 2026. We believe farming is not just about growing crops or raising animals; it’s about cultivating experiences that stay with people for a lifetime and foster a deeper appreciation for agriculture. Our vision for Roan View Farm is to provide quality products, friendly customer service, and host events that will “Harvest Memories” that last a lifetime.
On our website you can find a list of services we offer such as drone photography and tractor work, as well as farm animal rentals which brings the charm of the farm to your doorstep for any event. Multiple times a year we host events and go into the local schools and do agriculture presentations to share our passion for farming.
We recently opened up a storefront at 31 N. Mitchell Avenue in downtown Bakersville, called Roan View Mercantile! Inside you will find soft serve ice cream, tasty desserts, and retail items.
